Jay Jays Dance Off! Basically an interactive video catalog with moves they stole from @puponic . Oh, plus, it’s in 3D too! What?!?!
Whoa, a billboard that is legitimately interactive. Taking advantage of the fact that people do love to look at themselves, this board uses technology created for government or security surveillance and has people in Times Square stopping and gawking. Super cool, but kinda freaky. Found this one via @bradhaynes.
if your video has no audio, or, in this case, you simply can’t stomach good preaching, youtube has added a temporary vuvuzela feature!
Walking on water is a feat accomplished by only one man; however, the Liquid Mountaineering team has found a way to run on water by means of plenty of speed, an angled run and hi-tec tennis shoes. Follow the links to the real hi-tec website.
Incredible YouTube integration by Coke. They make use of user generated video in a unique and customized way for the 2010 World Cup. I can’t get this song out of my head, dang it. Built by Sapient Nitro
Apparently Dutch citizens are pretty apathetic to public employees being picked on all the time. Augmented Reality on a scale I’ve not seen before is the solution.
So, we’ve all seen sites that analyze your Twitter stream, or friends, or whatever and display it all custom-like. Well, this is another one but done quite well. Welcome to the tweet show!
Peace Shadow Project allows you to burn your shadow signature to allow for a world without nuclear weapons. The voice is pretty creep, but then again, so are nuclear bombs.
Will it Blend? gets another 4 Million views with it’s iPad episode. You can’t not watch and it’s such a brilliant marketing move on Blendtec’s part. It just never gets old and for some reason I now need this blender!
Never type Shift, Colon + Shift, 0 again. Auto Smiley will do it for you. A new little openFrameworks project analyzes your face, detects if you’re smiling, and sends the emoticon automatically. Better keep your smiling in check.
Poke did a slick interactive installation inside a few Orange retailers. Employees take then SMS videos of customers doing the wave and they are automagically added to the wall of others doing the same thing. When someone trips a sensor next to the door they get waved at by the wall. It’s wallsome!
Chatroulette phenom Merton gets his due! Epic publicity for Chatroulette, Merton, and Ben Folds results. I actually thought he WAS Ben Folds so the fact that the actual Ben Folds picked this up and ran with it makes the whole thing all the more awesome.
