Gap made a dedicated app for their annual casting call contest. The idea is to make it simple to enter since there is a camera and all built into your phone and stuff.
Are your brave enough to Bet Your Followers? This scares me for some reason but I like it. It’s like wanting to push a button that says “Don’t Push Button”.
Domino’s turns you into a Taste Bud Bounty Hunter by giving you incremental incentive to turn in your friends. I like to think of it as a smart and creative coupon generator. Great concept.
Follow, Tweet, Share. Like, Write for multiple chances to win a contest. Love the cut-out glasses and profile pic idea. James Cameron, your 3-D glasses have NOTHIN’ on this guy.
Gowalla partners with the Nets for a ticket scavenger hunt. First 500 to find’em get’em. “The iconic tickets will be scattered at sports bars, pubs, sporting goods stores and other venues around New Jersey and New York City where you might go to watch a basketball game this weekend.” - Gowalla
Farmville gets it’s first sponsored crop, peanuts. In a campaign created by Saatchi Interactive, Farmville gets the new crop and will also hold a peanut “Farm Design” contest. In-game/app advertising is something to keep an eye on.
In honor of St Patrick’s Day I offer up this Guinness related ATTTAACKr entry. Be the Face of the Guinness Grin by uploading a photo of yourself with Guinness foam all up on your face. The winner becomes immortalized in the Guinness Storehouse and on the Guinness Grin WIKIPEDIA page. Smart use of WIKIPEDIA btw. via @rasideas
CP+B pulling out all the stops in Old Navy’s latest modelquins promo/contest. Very comprehensive campaign now that I see it all together. At first the modelquins made me scared. Courtesy of @rasideas
Puma Motorsport is taking opinions on which sticker set they should use on their Team PUMA cars in the 2010 Gumball 3000 Rally. After 3 days they’ll announce the fans’ pick. It’s a blindingly simple example of how to engage your audience (and get FB fans) without dropping bank. I chose bottom left if you’re curious.
More crowdsourcing by CP&B with the latest Coke Zero and NCAA Department of Fannovation campaign. What I love about this is that they’re using Posterus and not hiding the fact. Note the project overview video on the right.
Nicely done campaign for the new MyCoke site. Note the use of contests, twitter buzz, facebook app, iphone app, videos, games, wallpapers, and more. I don’t think they missed a thing and it’s a good example of tying together a wide array of mediums.
Create your own NASCAR graphics over at Toyota Racing and submit to win. After approved you have 15 days to get as many votes as you can. The commercials were well done(another) and the only reason I know about this.
