CP+B pulling out all the stops in Old Navy’s latest modelquins promo/contest. Very comprehensive campaign now that I see it all together. At first the modelquins made me scared. Courtesy of @rasideas
Puma Motorsport is taking opinions on which sticker set they should use on their Team PUMA cars in the 2010 Gumball 3000 Rally. After 3 days they’ll announce the fans’ pick. It’s a blindingly simple example of how to engage your audience (and get FB fans) without dropping bank. I chose bottom left if you’re curious.
More crowdsourcing by CP&B with the latest Coke Zero and NCAA Department of Fannovation campaign. What I love about this is that they’re using Posterus and not hiding the fact. Note the project overview video on the right.
Nicely done campaign for the new MyCoke site. Note the use of contests, twitter buzz, facebook app, iphone app, videos, games, wallpapers, and more. I don’t think they missed a thing and it’s a good example of tying together a wide array of mediums.
Create your own NASCAR graphics over at Toyota Racing and submit to win. After approved you have 15 days to get as many votes as you can. The commercials were well done(another) and the only reason I know about this.
Shooting for Twitter’s trending topics isn’t anything new but regardless, Pizza Hut is running one through Valentine’s Day. The 100 best pick-up lines tweeted @pizzahut tagged #iluvPH win free chocolate-topped dessert sticks. Om Nom Nom!!!
$20M on commercials? Shoo, we’ll just give it to people in need. Brilliant!!! Instead of Super Bowl commercials Pepsi pulled a Judo move and opted for this social media contest to support the greater good.

Yazoo brewery here in Nashville had a glorious little gorilla media campaign going on during the superbowl. Tweet a photo of yourself with Yazoo tagged #yazooperbowl and win free stuff! Go Yazoo I want one of those bike jerseys :) !!!!
On ResortQuest they are hiding a treasure map on one of their ski destination pages. If you find it click it to get a phone number and secret code. Be the first to call with the secret code and WIN! It’s like a little one item scavenger hunt on their site. It’s a great way to get eyeballs and raise awareness of their ski packages. Clues are Tweeted out.
The Del Taco Super Special Show is pretty engaging, I think. Vote on your favorite clip, get a free taco, and spread the joy.
Black Cherry-lime with Facebook Connect ;). In a fashion similar to Dewmocracy, Vitaminwater recently created a facebook app that would let users build a new flavor.
Playground picked 4 hikers to stay awake as long as they could. Customers were given a chance to get their last purchase refunded if they chose the one the last hiker standing.
YouTube HD Camera Trick Challenge, this is old, like from earlier this year old. However, it has over 1 million views. This works on many levels because it showcases the quality of the product while exposing it to many others via the game/contest.
This morning DARPA launched ten red balloons across the U.S. in a Network Challenge. The first team to correctly locate all ten balloons will win a $40,000 prize. The idea is to see how people can self-organize on the Internet and how information disseminates through social and viral networks.
