Meet Meet Eater! He thrives on social interaction, specifically to it’s facebook wall. His life depends on it!
I thought this was a cool way to add some speed to a viral marketing gig. You go to eventful.com and you can “Demand” events come to you. If you get enough people to “Demand” it you can make it happen. Gives me the power. If I really want to see something I’m going to push my friends and family to Demand it too. So the consumer wins.
And the marketer wins too by finding out the most in demand places. Its a win/win.
Epic hoax generates 500k fb shares, 38k retweets, and 7k diggs on the OG post alone. Add the reposts, views, and reveal posts and the Chive is getting a couple new visitors.
Street food vendors are taking advantage of mobile-social-location-based things like twitter and foursquare. Strap an iPhone to a hot dog cart and boom! High-tech hot dog location device and transmitter machine. Ze futur is now.
Farmville is all up in your grocery store! It’s showing up on Green Giant packaging where you get Farmville bucks or dollars or whatever. I’m just a sucker for offline/online 1-2 combos.
Chipotle says, “Forward your spam to nojunk@chipotlejunk.com and for every 100,000 messages received at that address, we donate $10,000 to The Lunch Box.” So simple I love it!
A Mini picks a fight with Porsche and gets WHOMPED!!! Actually, it was only like 2 seconds which makes Mini look kinda feisty! Win Win I say!
Whoa, a billboard that is legitimately interactive. Taking advantage of the fact that people do love to look at themselves, this board uses technology created for government or security surveillance and has people in Times Square stopping and gawking. Super cool, but kinda freaky. Found this one via @bradhaynes.
