There has been so much talk on the streets about how Flash may soon be obsolete and replaced by HTML5 as more developers jump ship or more like jump on the markup language bandwagon. As a Flash developer myself, I seriously doubt it. Their platform shines when a higher level of interactive control is needed especially for motion. There is a misconception on Flash being a resource hog. With every type of development, it’s up to the developer to write code that is efficient and not use unnecessary resources. Any function written the wrong way will require higher CPU and memory usage regardless of what language it’s developed with.

This site showcases Flash technology at its best. Sites like this is why Flash will never die. You just can’t build this in markup language (i.e. HTML5). It’s just not possible. This is absolutely brilliant development with the Flash IDE.
