Now QR Codes Can Generate Likes On Facebook. Macanudos, based in Spain, has developed a system that will allow users to ‘like’ physical objects - from a press article or a poster announcing a performance to a restaurant - using a QR code. Right now the only example is a five-metre high bitter orange tree outside Macanudos’ office.
I thought this was a cool way to add some speed to a viral marketing gig. You go to eventful.com and you can “Demand” events come to you. If you get enough people to “Demand” it you can make it happen. Gives me the power. If I really want to see something I’m going to push my friends and family to Demand it too. So the consumer wins.
And the marketer wins too by finding out the most in demand places. Its a win/win.

Cee-lo’s new song is great. I know that’s subjective but this is actually a fact. What’s more amazing is the video for it. It’s not what I expected but it’s refreshing and from a creative design standpoint it’s brilliant. Caution, strong but hilarious language.
